RLM Public Relations is hiring a Senior Account Executive to lead day-to-day client PR activities and serve as a primary contact for assigned accounts. The role develops and executes strategic PR plans, manages integrated campaigns, secures media coverage, and provides client counsel, reporting, and reputation-management support.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day client PR activities and serving as a primary contact for assigned accounts
• Developing and executing strategic PR plans, creating compelling pitches, securing media coverage, and managing integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, oversee timelines and deliverables, and provide proactive counsel to support client goals and reputation management
• Monitoring industry trends, managing crisis-related communications when needed, preparing reports, and presenting results and recommendations to clients and agency leadership

Skills

• Strong public relations and communications skills, including media relations, storytelling, pitching, and message development
• Experience in account and client management, including campaign planning, project coordination, and stakeholder communication
• Skills in content creation and editing, such as writing press materials, bylines, thought leadership pieces, and social media copy
• Strategic and analytical skills, including trend monitoring, competitive analysis, and results reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of PR agency or in-house communications experience
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across distributed teams
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices in all client and media interactions
• Preferably working with B2B and B2C clients and cross-industry accounts
