Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AVB Inc. is seeking a talented Python/JavaScript Full Stack Developer to support its evolving client technology needs. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing scalable full-stack solutions, enhancing an existing open-source product, and collaborating with product owners, QA engineers, and distributed development teams.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of US and off-shore developers to add enhancements to an existing open-source product
• Work with JavaScript on the front-end, Python on the backend, and a Postgres database
• Work with the Product Owners and QA engineers to solidify requirements before starting to code
• Code-review others code

Skills

• • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• • Strong background in JavaScript, Python, HTML and CSS skills
• • Comfortable with SQL
• • Knowledge of optimized web server configurations and experience scaling web applications
• • Willingness to learn and great communication skills
• • Ability to work independently as well as with an offshore team
• • 2 years of experience working with Python and JavaScript
• • Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
