Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. eagle Controls is seeking a System Design Engineer to join their Controls team. The role involves designing and configuring automation systems, managing project materials, and ensuring system functionality while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing and configuring automation systems by selecting hardware, developing software, and creating necessary drawings and documentation
• Managing material procurement, tracking, and factory-mounting processes to align with project schedules
• Loading, commissioning, and validating system functionality while troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades
• Documenting field changes, updating as-built drawings and software, and prepare system operation manuals
• Providing project updates to management and customers while ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Conducting site-specific training for owners/operators and complete required administrative paperwork

Skills

• At least three years of hands-on experience in installing and/or commissioning automation systems
• Proficiency in building automation system configuration software
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Proven technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Advanced computer skills, including expertise in computer-aided drafting tools
