The role develops and executes business development strategies, drives revenue growth, manages the sales pipeline, and collaborates across teams to improve service offerings and client retention.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading growth initiatives and expanding MindLynx’s client portfolio
• This role oversees the development and execution of business development strategies, identifies new markets and partnership opportunities, and drives revenue growth across key service lines
• Day-to-day activities include setting strategic priorities, managing the sales pipeline, guiding lead generation and client prospecting efforts, and optimizing the sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing
• The Vice President will collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to align business plans with market trends, enhance service offerings, and improve client retention and satisfaction
• This position also involves mentoring team members, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring consistent, data-driven decision-making

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios
• Strong skills in Business Planning and Account Management, including building long-term client relationships and overseeing strategic initiatives
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with experience structuring agreements that balance client needs and organizational goals
• Proven leadership experience in business development or sales at a senior level
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with comfort using data and CRM tools to inform strategy
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Preferably within IT services, digital agencies, or consulting environments
• An advanced degree (MBA or similar) is beneficial
• Familiarity with freelancing platforms (e.g., Upwork) and growth-focused strategies such as lead generation, growth hacking, and business automation is an advantage
