The role oversees global business development strategy, partnerships, international sales, market expansion, and team mentorship.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President of Global Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading international growth initiatives and expanding Golden.vc’s client base across key markets
• This role oversees global business development strategy, identifies and cultivates new partnerships, and drives international sales efforts with seed and Series A startups
• Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing a high-performing business development pipeline, leading complex negotiations with prospective clients and partners, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to refine service offerings based on market feedback
• The role also involves analyzing market trends, developing entry and expansion strategies for new regions, and representing Golden.vc at virtual and in-person industry events
• The Vice President will mentor team members, contribute to revenue forecasting, and ensure that global business development activities align with the company’s long-term growth objectives

Skills

• Strong expertise in International Business Development and Business Development, with a proven record of driving growth across multiple regions
• Demonstrated success in Sales and International Sales, including building and managing pipelines and closing complex deals
• Advanced Negotiation skills, with experience structuring and finalizing strategic partnerships and large commercial agreements
• Experience working with or within early-stage startups, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Clear, persuasive communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across cultures and time zones
• Proven leadership capabilities, including mentoring teams and collaborating effectively in a remote, distributed environment
