The role leads operational planning and process improvement, manages budgets and performance, coordinates cross-functional initiatives, and supports stakeholder service, compliance, and remote team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals
• This position leads operational planning, designs and improves processes, and coordinates cross-functional projects that support advocacy, communications, and community engagement
• The role includes managing financial performance at the operational level, overseeing budgets, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure efficient use of resources
• The Vice President Operations collaborates with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, supports high-quality stakeholder and tenant service, and ensures compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
• The position also involves mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and implementing tools and systems that enhance remote work efficiency

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process design, optimization, and performance monitoring
• Proven experience in P&L Management, budgeting, and financial analysis to support sustainable organizational growth
• Strong background in Customer Service, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management in a mission-driven context
• Experience in Strategic Planning, including setting priorities, defining objectives, and translating strategy into operational plans
• Proficiency in Project Management, with the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and deliver results on time and within scope
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and data-informed judgment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse internal and external audiences
• Experience leading remote teams and using digital collaboration tools to maintain alignment and productivity
