About the Role

GAMA-1 Technologies is seeking a Web Developer II to manage the full lifecycle of web applications and websites in a remote work environment. This mid-level position covers front-end and back-end development, custom WordPress solutions, database integration, and cloud-hosted applications on platforms such as AWS and Azure. The developer will take ownership of web projects from implementation through deployment and ongoing support. Working with cross-functional teams, the role will focus on building responsive, secure, reliable, and scalable web solutions while helping establish consistent development best practices across the company's web portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of web applications and websites, from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to support website requirements. Build clean, responsive front-end interfaces. Integrate back-end services and databases with web applications. Develop and support cloud-hosted applications on platforms such as AWS and Azure. Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and security of web solutions. Ensure websites and applications remain fast, secure, reliable, and scalable as requirements evolve. Translate project requirements into well-built technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web development projects and support their technical needs. Apply development best practices and contribute to consistent standards across the web portfolio. Identify opportunities to modernize web solutions and recommend improvements.
