Open role
[Remote] Amazon Business- Amazon Operations Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amandean is hiring an Amazon Operations Manager to own brand-building operations across its Amazon brands. The role manages product and client launch pipelines, coordinates supply chain and specialist teams, keeps clients informed, and improves operational systems and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Run the new product pipeline: move ideas through sourcing and quotes, prioritise with supply chain, and ask the product lead for more ideas when needed
- Run the client launch pipeline: coordinate each step from product selection to launch, with clear owners, deadlines and follow-ups
- Start with a daily 30-minute pulse check: review launch blockers, outstanding quotes, enough product ideas, and client/team Slack updates
- Work with supply chain to keep orders, stock and logistics on track, and build forecasts from real sales data as it becomes available
- Clear blockers promptly, chase outstanding quotes, and help the team prioritise what needs to move next
- Coordinate catalogue, design and PPC specialists so their work is ready on time and nothing gets missed
- Own the brand-building client journey, managing expectations and following up quickly on decisions and outstanding actions
- Spend around half your time on client communication, including clear updates at least twice a week for active sourcing-phase clients
- Keep trackers and regular reporting current; flag refund, stock or sales issues early, with a plan to address them
- Improve the systems you run through clearer SOPs, better ClickUp workflows, and AI or automation where it helps
- Run the weekly ops meeting and give the founders a concise report on progress, risks and next steps
- Grow into wider business and agency operations, with the opportunity to build a team of one or two people
Skills
- A mover. Hyper-organised, hyper-focused, high-energy. Your default is to check ‘what's happening with X? where are my gaps right now?' on your own rhythm, without being prompted
- Client-management maturity. You've held clients through difficult conversations — delays, cost overruns, bad news, scope arguments. You reset expectations without becoming defensive, deliver bad news professionally, and keep clients engaged when things aren't going their way
- People-management reflex. You hold team members accountable without drama. You run meetings that produce decisions. You lead specialists through clear briefs and consistent follow-up — not just coordination
- Strong AI fluency: you use AI tools confidently to improve workflows and work faster, while applying your own thinking and checking the output
- 7+ years operations leadership in e-commerce, Amazon, or supply-chain-heavy business (you've run a function, not just executed in one)
- An understanding of Amazon, catalogue/listing workflows and the product-to-launch process; personally launching Amazon products is not required
- Excellent organisation and follow-through: you keep trackers current, spot gaps and make sure every action has an owner and a deadline
- Excellent written English (native or near-native - client-facing communication is a core part of this role)
- Systems thinker (you design and implement processes with discipline and are comfortable owning ClickUp, Notion, or Airtable as a daily operating tool)
- Strong prioritisation: you can manage multiple projects, follow up promptly and keep work moving in a fast-paced business
- Strong cross-team coordination: you hold people accountable, clarify responsibilities and work well with specialists
- Self-directed (you diagnose problems and act - you don't wait to be told what to do)
- Direct Amazon FBA private label launch experience (your own brand or as an agency operator)
- Commercial awareness: comfortable reading client contracts and revenue-share terms, able to flag when a scope change becomes a commercial issue
- Experience managing offshore teams (Philippines, India, Pakistan, Eastern Europe)
- Experience working at a bootstrapped business or as a COO-of-one at a small company
- Supply chain experience, including supplier negotiation, securing better deals, sourcing in China, freight or FBA logistics
- Familiarity with Xero, Sellerboard, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Amazon-specific tooling
- Background that includes running both client-facing and internal operations functions
- Based in or overlapping with EU time zone (Western or Eastern Europe strongly preferred, UK working hours)
Benefits
- Performance bonuses tied to successful Brand Builder launches and operational outcomes (specifics defined at offer stage).
- Long-term upside opportunity tied to portfolio brand growth for the right candidate.
- Clear path to Operations Director within 12 months, with potential path to COO beyond that for the right person — with base increases to match.
- Fully remote (anywhere within EU time zone overlap).
- Unlimited paid time off, with a minimum expectation of 2-3 weeks per year.
- Paid sick leave.
- Flexible hours within agreed core overlap with the team.
- Equipment provided as needed.
- Learning and development on the job; relevant external courses or programs may be covered by discussion.
